Hubei Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Honda

Overview

A Hubei company's main business includes the R&D and production of automotive lamps, electronic lighting components, and specialized electronic equipment, it is the main supplier of Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Honda.
The factory's power supply is provided from the grid to a 10kV power source connected to the high-voltage distribution room, and then to six low-voltage distribution rooms. This time renovation provides online monitoring of electricity, water, compressed air, and natural gas through the factory, with a software module reserved for distributed photovoltaic power generation.
The project involved 198 multi-function electricity meters, six water meters, one compressed air flow meter, and four natural gas meters. The relevant instrumentation and data collection devices were configured based on site conditions, and the EMS enterprise microgrid energy efficiency management platform was deployed on-site to address the client's three-tier energy metering and product unit energy consumption calculations.

Project Solution

Acrel provided a complete software and hardware solution for this energy transformation, including industrial energy consumption system, 10kV/0.4kV power monitoring system, distributed photovoltaic monitoring system, wireless IoT electricity meter, wireless water meter, multi-circuit power collection device, data collection terminal, etc.

Project Effects

Create a three-level energy metering system to achieve refined energy management in factories
Through the EMS enterprise energy management platform, water, electricity, gas and other metering equipment in the entire plant are centrally monitored, and water, electricity and gas consumption and corresponding cost data are provided to understand the detailed distribution of energy costs throughout the enterprise.
Build a product unit consumption statistics system to provide direction for energy conservation and consumption reduction in factories
The template imports production data and conducts statistical analysis on the energy consumption per unit product/per unit output value from the dimensions of the enterprise, workshop, production line, team, equipment, etc. It compares with national, local, industry and its own better standard indicators to identify gaps and problems, thereby guiding managers to find the direction of process improvement and optimization.
Customized enterprise energy reports to reduce factory labor costs
Based on the enterprise data model, energy consumption data is categorized and aggregated hourly, daily, monthly, and annually according to different dimensions (by household, item, department, etc.), providing data support for energy consumption analysis. This reduces manpower input and lowers the company's human resource operating costs. The equipment management department can improve labor cost efficiency by 50%-60%, reducing the manual work of meter reading and energy consumption report preparation by 90%.
