Overview
LONGI SOLAR a division of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd.,focuses on technological innovation and endeavors to build its business in five areas—monocrystalline wafers, cells and modules, distributed generation solar solutions, utility plant system solutions, and hydrogen equipment solutions. It has grown into a Green Power + Green Hydrogen product and solution provider that supports the global zero carbon drive.
The project located in the Yun Trung Industrial Zone in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, aims to install a busbar temperature measurement and monitoring system for the newly constructed G5 workshop of Vietnam Battery Technology Co., Ltd., to measure and monitor power usage and electrical parameters of the busbar plug in boxes.
Power Distribution Structure
The workshop's large equipment, such as wafer slicers and cleaning machines, is powered by a compact busbar system. Seven 22kV/0.4kV transformers are installed throughout the workshop, each feeding 13 compact busbars. The busbar system utilizes a 3200A three-phase, five-wire system. A total of 236 plug-in boxes are used, with specifications ranging from 160A/3P, 250A/3P, 350A/3P, 400A/3P, 630A/3P, and 800A/3P.
Project Solution
This power monitoring system utilizes a two-level monitoring and management system, encompassing a "site-monitoring center" approach, enabling real-time monitoring of the entire busbar distribution system.
Two monitoring panels are installed in the distribution room. Panel 1 monitors data from busbars 1-8, while panel 2 monitors data from busbars 9-13. The plug-in box monitoring uses the AM100-A/P1 busbar monitoring device, installed by the busbar manufacturer. The general contractor is responsible for laying the communication cables. The entire system is networked along the busbar sections. Data is ultimately aggregated at the distribution room panel.
The power monitoring system then forwards the plug-in box electrical parameter data to the workshop's central monitoring platform via the local area network.

Project Effects
The system monitors all electrical parameters of the entire dense busbar system's plug-in box, enabling centralized monitoring of the dense busbar and providing data support for its safety and reliability. The system also features power statistics, providing data support for LONGi Green Energy to explore production line renovation plans,reduce costs and increase efficiency.
