Overview
The project is located in Penang, Malaysia.
Client is ABBO*, a multinational healthcare company with a factory in Penang, Malaysia.
YONGYANG Photovoltaic Installation Company is the EPC, which has some resources related to factories. YONGYANG has been seeking for enterprise transformation to broaden its focus and intelligentize the production lines for the factories in recent years..
This project involves intelligently retrofitting ABBO*'s factory and office areas. The goal is to remotely monitor the power load and power consumption of the factory, as well as provide real-time fault alarm monitoring for power parameters. This provides the client with data support for the reliable, safe, and economical operation of the power supply system.
Customer Demand
● Factory's energy consumption is increasing, and need to know exactly where it's being consumed.
● The factory has multiple intelligent systems, including photovoltaics, BACNET equipment, and the ThingsBoard system, but data isn't interoperable, making maintenance difficult.
● When equipment breaks down, we can't retrieve operating data.
● Power quality monitoring is required.
● Dashboard design.
Project Solution
This project provides real-time monitoring and data collection for electrical equipment, prompt fault alarms, and remote energy consumption monitoring. Dashboard was also designed for the site, connecting to the existing on-site ThingsBoard system for display of energy consumption, carbon emissions, and photovoltaic data.
The monitoring device includes:
● 200pcs of ADW300, ADL200N-CT, and ADL400N-CT energy meters;
● 20pcs ANET smart gateways
● IoT system.
Project Effects
Reliable power supply
Through the real-time fault alarm monitoring function , Customer can immediately detect power supply system anomalies and promptly troubleshoot line faults to ensure stable operation of various power usage scenarios in the building.
System Integration
The intelligent transformation project integrated several outdated systems and equipment within the factory, including photovoltaic power plant data, Bacnet devices, and ThingsBoard system. This enabled data connectivity across the factory and reduced operation and maintenance costs.
Customer Transformation
Through this intelligent transformation project, relying on our system platform, the customer has gradually expanded from traditional photovoltaic installation business to system project integration business. Leveraging the factory resources, and can undertake more factory intelligent transformation projects, thus broadening the customer's business scope.
